Had the great pleasure of watching him play for Utd from the start and through the late 50s and 60s.
What a player .He had everything in his locker .
One game stands out in my memory .
The European cup win at Wembley when Bobby scored twice to seal a great win .

I recall my late father taking me to O/T shortly after Munich , from then on i watched and became a United fan but i also loved seeing THE GREAT SIR ROBERT CHARLTON , FOOTBALL IS THE LOSER TODAY ,

I was even more saddened to hear about how Sir Bobby passed , it was a shock i did not know he was in a care home , and just wondered if someone could have been there when he wanted to stand up thing's might have been different ,maybe!! Anyway for me it's a very very sad end to such an illustrious career ! Just hope he is kicking a ball around with other Babes , GB

I DIDNT attend the funeral Todger .
But i did visit O T to message and sign the book of condolence and place a floral tribute amongst the many thousands .
